Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon due to which a person relates different letters or numbers with different color, smell or taste. Due to synesthesia, when a particular sense is triggered(e.g. smell), the brain signals a completely different sense(e.g. taste). A person with synesthesia might say that number 1 does not taste good or the letter D is always yellow.

Most people who have synesthesia are completely unaware of their condition until they realize that others don’t experience things in the same way. Synesthetic people are more likely to participate in creative activities, and mostly they have a better memory than others. There is no valid proof as to how synesthesia develops in a person. But it had been suggested that it develops during the childhood.(1,2)

In a cluster headache, the pain occurs on the one side of the head around the eyes. The eye on the affected side tears up and can even droop. The nose can get congested on the same side too. Cluster headaches last from half an hour to two hours. The name cluster headache comes from the pain that comes in groups or clusters. In one day, a person gets more than one attack of pain, and usually, such attacks occur on a daily basis.

Until now, there isn’t a definite cure for cluster headaches. However, it can sometimes be prevented and some acute attacks can be treated. The cause of cluster headaches is unknown.(1,2,3)
