Paul was involved in helping many victims of the earthquake in Haiti, and started a charity organization called ‘Reach Out Worldwide‘ which still assists areas affected by natural disasters around the world. Once he was in a jewelry store one day when he noticed a young U.S. military veteran with his fiance shopping for a wedding ring. 12 Unfortunately the second victim of the fatal crash, Roger Rodas, did not get as much world-wide attention as Paul.

Roger Rodas was a friend, racing competitor, and co-owner with Paul at a car customization business called “Always Evolving”. Roger was also Paul’s financial advisor, and they performed a lot of charity work together. In fact, they were on their way to a fundraiser event for “Reach Out Worldwide” when they had the accident.(source)
